Legion XIIII is a small but successful business empire, organised by some of the most enthusiastic and gifted ancient historians in the world. Our primary objective is to revive the heritage of this planet, and bring the excitement of ancient history into the lives of present and future generations.
This is achieved by touring schools and public areas across the globe to share our expertise with the children of the world. We communicate to our audience through impressive displays of ancient military technique and battle dress, and by presentations and demonstrations from expert speakers, which are sure to captivate the minds of children, teachers, and parents alike.
We are not actors, yet we live, dress, and work as the ancient peoples we portray. Interesting key figures from our past are revived in our members, as each one of us has assumed the name and identity of a man, woman or child described in ancient writings. We invite you to explore your past with us, while you navigate our ever-growing empire in Cyberspace.
Our operations in the UK presently include demonstrations, re-enactment, and research from the ancient Greek and Roman eras. Although we are historically a fighting race, we should all be proud of our past. The teachings of peace are not quick to be learned. The following Webpages are designed to present the stories of the two greatest and most important empires in our history, from graphic perspectives which, we hope, will help demonstrate the astonishing and terrifying military power and ingenuity of these amazing peoples. Let it be remembered that, though life left their bodies so many centuries ago, the influence of these civilizations ramifies and echoes deep into everyday contemporary life.
